The Re-Rollers took the field blessed with their magnificent 8 re-rolls of luck, against an opponent who's squad have been recognised across blood bowl as one of the unluckiest starting human teams. Their record of 0/0/7 was nothing if not consistent.
Sadly, lady luck was unable to affect the weather gods and it did rain down upon the players... making ball handling a unique experience.... the ladies [one would think being from Lustria they'd know how to handle something wet and slippery] managed to fumbbl the ball on numerous occasions in the first half - and left themselves with a tricky maneuver on the 8th turn to get a TD. A blitz to make space, then a hand off to a liner with a pogo stick, who would then GFI four times to score... the blitz failed - a re-roll was used and then the hand off resulted in a fluffed ball.
In the second half the humans split their team to hold the ball deep in their half in order to delay their move for a TD to limit the ladies chances of scoring an equalizer, however this tactic didn't impress the Re-Rollers and they began knocking the heads of the humans at the LOS together... KO's and an injury followed and with numbers dropping the ladies descended upon the humans in the backfield with wanton abandon.. the ball was secured, and a TD came for Clipperton I.

- - - A very enjoyable game, featuring teams with their own 'story' which is nice to see on here as apposed to blank info pages, a quality opponent and as always some interesting dice rolls - - -

#12 D. Freeney – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#12 D. Freeney – Broken Neck (-AG)
An odd match that featured every player being gifted with random skills, including two of my linemen developing bone-head and one of the amazons being gifted with a pogo-stick. Alas, none of these skills where quite as important as the belting rain that pounded down on the stadium through out the game. Ball handling was difficult to impossible, and that went a long way towards preventing this being a more one-sided game than it was. Still, an immensely pleasurable, if unique game, against a sporting opponent. Good fun, despite the forced retirement of D.Freeney...
