“Our darkies have been matched up vs khemri again, this time a very similarly rated team coached by IlmanMalthus who have somehow yet to get a player a skill.

They opt to kick and we push forwards slowly, trying to remove skeletons with some success. Eventually 4 are in the KO box but good mummy blitzes have the ball downed and they surround it. We try a couple of times, eventually managing a 5+ pickup in 3 tackle zones and then dodge and pass to get the ball downfield! On our final turn we decide not to score seeing as there are 5 in their KO box, including both blitz-ras and a thro-ra; we're giving up a TD to give them one less round of wake up rolls and to avoid their mummies on the line of scrimmage for their last turn.

2/5 wake up so they have just 9 for the second half, including their thro-ra but neither blitz-ra. They secure the ball which was kicked deep into their endzone but we have rushed quite a lot of elves between the mummy line and the ball. They have 3 skellies back to cover but it's not enough and we manage to get elves all around the ball carrier- they blitz to free him but he is still in a lot of danger so the khemri coach opts to long bomb the ball down into our half. We soon grab it and start running it upfield while keeping the khemri away, eventually scoring on turn 7 despite a slight mishap while trying a pass for a skillup (which we managed on the 2nd attempt).
