“Aside from a lucky TD in the last turn, this was as one sided an encounter as the Eagles have played. Dominated in the first half and beaten up to the point where the injury list was becoming a worry, the game could have finished much worse for us. The niggling injury was unfortunate, but the death of one norse raider and broken neck suffered by another clearly gave the Einheim fans something to cheer since our fan factor went up. Clearly an experienced coach who played a competitive game asking and giving no quarter during the game.”
