#3 Retaliation – Broken Ribs (MNG) #3 Retaliation – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST) #6 Retribution – Dead (RIP)
“And another *fine* game. My opponents team was much stronger than mine, but in Faction you have to take whatever game you can get.
The handicap table proved its usefulness once more:
- Virus (whoa, this time my opp. lost one niggling Blitzer)
- Smelling Salts (my first player was KOes in the last quarter of the game)
- That Babes Got Talent (woohoo, TWO more cheerleaders, great)
Thank you GW, Jervis, Andy, whoever for your deep understanding of the game.
And down went my team: after the first quarter two dwarves and the Mino were already hurt, the dwarf with ST-1 and an incompetent apo. One more dwarf was injured later while dodging, one more was slain and generally they seemed to have left their armor in the locker room. Their opponents made quite a few mistakes, but no matter what there was always some safety, like Blackorcs and Lineorcs catching the bouncing ball while standing in tackle zones.
Seems I have to take a long and rocky road towards building up this team ...”
