“Do you mean ‘picking’, or do you mean ‘choosing’?!

I'm not sure 'picking' in the FUMBBL sense of the word is really relevant at equal TS going up against 5 Claws or better, but OK! :D Naturally, at this TS, DE have to start favourites, but they are ranked at #1 overall, so that isn’t unusual!!!

Anyway, I was disappointed to lose the match itself. Having not played great in the first half (but still OK), I failed a 2+ to go in 2-2 at half time, and the Rotters sailed really close to the wind chucking the ball about to AG3 without RRs, finding POWs where needed, and whatnot. Second half, I quickly scored for 2-2, and had woken up, so my D was far better. Finally after 15 turns of good stuff, a Rotter fail with the ball left me a pretty easyish (perhaps 18/20?) chance to win the match, but a snake cost me the win, and after some more easy(!) AG3 ball stuff, a loss compounded things. Always tricky and too easy to reduce 16 turns of play to 3 1's on scoring touchdown moves, but there you go, it’s always how one feels. I don't think my first half warranted a win (I’m my own harshest critic), but I didn't warrant a loss either, IMO. But, such is BB, such is life! I had fun anyway.

I thought we both had fun in an evenish on paper game, actually. Perhaps something is lost in translation?!
