“I admit I was expecting to get a lot more big hits on the elves than I did.
And they knocked down far more Ogres than I would have liked.
Part of that was the turn I failed all 5 bonehead rolls was really tough, and it was even worse that the turn after that I failed 3. It almost made me give up on my Ogres. But part of it was definitely that Moxy used his high AG on his players to get into good positions.
Moxy was a great player and I'd gladly play him again once he gets an Apothacary.
After the match Keven Boss got retired, but John Carney got a ST increase so I'll be holding on to that Str 3 Gobo for sure. I wish I could have more than 6 Gobo's though. Ah well, Once I get to 8 Ogres and only need to put 3 Gobo's on the pitch at at time, well, that will be interesting.
