“Gondolin Raiders gave the Boyz fans an awful scare in tonight's match. Everything seemed to be progressing as normal. The orcs were bashing elves, and the dark elves were sneering and cruel... when all of a sudden, with a disbelieving gasp from around the ground, Rocky Shinsmasha, was lying face down... and didn't look good. Rocky, the crowd's favourite, and emerging star player of the team, was close to death.

The orc apothecary ran out onto the picth, muttering prayers to the orc gods... if he didn't revive the stricken star, then it wouldn't just be his job that was forfeit... the crowd would hang him up by his unmentionables!!

Fortunately for the doc, he had been paying attention to his tutor the day they taught "back from the brink" in med school... The fans went cray... Rocky was back on his feet, completely unaware of what the fuss was all about!

It was a tough game. Those dark elves knew how to block... and try as they might the Boyz couldn't yake them down. They were 0-1 down, when Rocky put in and inspired performance, backed up by the ever reliable Chuck Deball. It was the final turn of the 2nd half when Rocky received a pinpoint accurate pass and steamed over the line in his usual style.

The Raiders were not too pleased with him, and vowed to "teach that medic" a lesson if they ever caught him away from the team bus!”
