I played bad during the first half of the first half, allowing a TD by stupidity. Mossbeard saw it, and scored. I failed to score during the remaining first half. I scored easily during second half, when I received. Mossbeard received for overtime, and I ganged up on the Count, wrenched the Ball from him and scored for the win.
All in all, this wasn't decided by superior play (in fact, I played worse than he did) but rather by my somewhat significantly superior team. Mossbeard was a nice enough opponent, who suffered the losses to his team with appropriate dignity. At least he got the dough out of it to buy new players.”

“Started this tournament with a healthy 14 player team.
After a brutal number of casualties in my first game, I started this game with 10 players including the Count.
Got lucky to score a td in the first four turns and was able to stop the chaos from scoring in the first half.
We were badly beat down by the 2nd half and Dark Angel stalled and continued to beat us up. By overtime we had only 6 players left and were powerless vs. a much stronger team.
I was disappointed to get a niggle on my thrower the game after he got +AG, and that my guard, tackle, block lino died, but my team can recover. At least when we lose we leave the blood of our team all over the pitch, 17 casualties against this team in the last two games!
Good luck in teh rest of the tourney WG|Dark_Angel.”
