“Our dark elves have been matched vs Razlo3p's chaos. They have got their full roster of 4 CWs and an ogre + plenty of beastmen; with 12 players on each side it looks like a well balanced match!
We start well, badly hurting one beastman on the LOS and then gang fouling another into the BH box at the end of the turn with our DP, who is unfortunately also sent off. With this slight numbers advantage we are able to push forwards quite well, losing the ball at only one point. We try and and pass the ball to our rookie blitzer for the SPPs instead of scoring on turn 5, failing it, but fortunately we have enough elves around to screen the way to the ball and we recover with the same blitzer and score safely on our final turn to make it 1-0 for the 2nd half.
With no other injuries since the 1st turn, we set up 11 vs 10 chaos for the second half. They secure a nice kick that lands right in the corner by the line of scrimmage, but this leaves them a bit out of position. Despite putting 4 beastmen around the ballcarrier we are able to run in elves all around them, forcing them to eventually go for a 1d block to free the ball carrier that even with a reroll sees the blockless beastman knocked over! This lets us grab the ball and once again run through with a loose web of elves in between them and the ball, scoring again on turn 4 by passing to our rookie blitzer who will now skillup!
And once again we're able to get our speedy blitzers all around their ball carrier cage while putting elves between the line of scrimmage chaos players and the ball. With 3 turns to go and without enough players back they can't keep the ball and eventually on turn 8 we manage to score again to win it 3-0!
