“Kondor crossed the pitch and shook hands with coach Bladedancer. The game played in the mud saw the ugliest first half in recent memory with the dwarfs unable to even pick up the ball and neither side scoring a single casualty. Even the lone foul committed by Jerry Garcia failed to break armor, and he was ejected.

The second half was a bit better, and Kondor thought he would certainly keep the Renegades from the endzone. A good blitz by Fredrick Douglas jarred the ball from Brokentusk, but Brokentusk was able to pick up the ball for the second time in the half, then throw a long pass to Brokenskull who was able to score what turned into and easy TD.

Reflecting upon the match, Kondor was not disappointed with his crew. They had played to the best of their abilities. Kondor was simply out coached, and the orcs made one play when they had to.

Towards the end of the match, the frustration of the dwarfs could be seen as Jim Morrison hurt and orc, and then Karl Marx killed the lineorc Steelrib. Indeed, the fellas would need to be coached not to save that passion for the end of the match. Putting a couple of thos guys on the bence early may have made a big difference.
