Facing off against an amazing wood elf team was truly a challenge. We pinpointed 3 elves that were crucial to remove: the ST 4/AG 5 wardancer, AG 5 wardancer, and MA 10 sprint catcher. With them on the field, our chances were very slim. In the end it was a game for the fouling...our dp caused 2 CAS in 3 boots; and more amazingly, our other players managed 2 CAS in 4 boots. This made up for a weak job by the MB and tacklers. It was a close game throughout with finally, all three key elves being in the BH box near the end of the game and we made sure that the elves were pounded into the dirt so no one turn attempt would be possible and indeed, we held on for the 2-1 win. On a sad note, our MA 9 AG 4 skink aged a niggle.”
