“I made too many mistakes forgetting about bitz+frenzy combo and letting my ST5 BOB get surfed. Then mistake with moving and the ball was free. Second half was much better but delves failed to fail sth and we failed to score, they don't.
I want to thank clarkin for great fair play and nice chat in. Hope to play better vs ya next time :)”
“It's our dark elves vs pingus's orcs, featuring well skilled black orcs though no tackle or DP or MB should make it a little easier on us.
We start things off by kicking and rolling up a blitz! We pile players around their STR5 super-black-orc and then dodge-blitz our witchelf to 2d-push then 1d-pow him out of the stadium and into the KO box! That will make things a bit easier this drive! On our next turn we use a gang DP foul to send another black orc to the KO box, giving us a nice numbers advantage. The enemy coach (disturbed by a recent dentist visit) makes a slight mistake with his cage placement and his troll is left unassisted and doesn't take his place! This lets us dodge through for a 2d blitz and then get the ball with our witch elf! We run the ball upfield and then since it's only turn 4 go for some stalling action to prevent them equalising after we score. But we mess it up and the orcs get a 2d blitz in on our ball carrier, knocking him out! With only a few turns left we try desperately to get the ball- managing at one point to be inches from scoring with our witch elf until she slips on the final square! On our last turn we finally manage a slightly dodgy 1d blitz and a couple of dodges to score and make it 1-0.. phew!
We start with the ball in the second half and look for an early score. Our DP KO's a blitzer while a black orc blitz badly hurts our leader-elf, who will be sorely missed! Our score attempt goes awry with an early fumble and with no RRs we must accept it. The ball goes back and forth between the teams, with the orcs eventually looking to be in control and moving it towards us until we finally dislodge it and throw it back upfield in a typically elven display of agility. We score to make it 2-0 and secure the win, then proceed to dance around mocking the orcs until our head coach's throat is sore!
Cheers for the game pingus ;)”
