“With only two mummies after being mauled by ogres in the previous match I was a bit nervous over what kind of team I would face next. Fortunately the I Peccatori nurgle was a good draw, since they lacked both dp's and other scary tools of killing.

A double skull re-rolled into another double skull on my very first block of the match made me a bit nervous, but both teams lacked luck during the first half and No Escape managed to sprint in a TD in their last turn. Pestilenza gets the award for ugliest player on the pitch after being saved no less than 5 times by his extremly foul appearance during the first half!

In the 2nd half it was 10 vs 10. One of the blitz-ra's managed to get the ball carrier down early in the half, which made the opponents launch a risky 1 man TD attempt. It succeeded in turn 4, but at the cost of draining the team's re-rolls. It also left time for No Escape to launch a second offensive drive. This time they were 11 vs 9 and managed to box in the opponents and dominate the bashing game. Shardaz ran in his 2nd TD of the match in turn 16.

The winnings were enough to replace my niggled mummy, so No Escape moved from a disastrous situation to being back on track in a single game. 3 mummies lost in 15 matches is a very costly tradition that they need to break though.”
