“Kondor met Coach Tigurius at mid field and congratulated him on a well played win. Entering the match, Kondor had mixed feelings. He had never led his ladies against dwarfs, and they had a reputation of treating women harshly.

Still, this would be the 5th match for the ladies, and they had not lost yet. They had already beaten one chaos dwarf team, and fought another to a draw. Their other draw was against undead, and their first victory was over a band of halflings. Indeed, this would be a true test of skill.

As the first half opened, the Betties took the ball and made bold moves down the southern sideline. They pushed hard against the slower dwarfs, and were close enough to almost taste the endzone. For a moment, Kondor thought they may actually score. Still, it was for naught, and the dwarf blitzer found his way to the ball carrier. Once it was out, it was just a question of time before the dwarfs scored.

Half two saw a quick and methodical drive that Kondor would later review. He planned to utilize it while coaching his own dwarf squad. Coach Tigurius showed massive control over his players when he urged them to restrain from blasting the downed Betties and chose rather to score early and despite the fact that he would have to return the ball.

With the ball returned and the game in hand, the dwarves came fearlessly forward allowing a quick pass to Nadirah who moved down the field and scored quickly a few moments later.

As the match ended, Kondor was cautiously pleased with the match. He had been sure that the team would leave battered and broken. To only have one injury was very acceptable. Balqis choice to get too near the sideline was the only real injury of the match.
