“OCCS Stomp - Game 14:

Sweet Victory! This was a tough game where we faced some adversity, but managed to overcome and the crowd could not stop chanting "MacArthur! MacArthur!" Indeed, MacArthur was the star of the show with an amazing 39 rush yards and 2 TDs in the game. In the first half, MacArthur sliced through the defense and managed to get into the endzone untouched due to some quick dodges and good blocking by his teammates. The orcs then went on the offense and got a pass upfield, but MacArthur raced over and knocked down the orc blitzer and it ended up 1-0 at halftime. In the second half, there was no stopping the orcs...outnumbered and quickly more so, the orcs rolled in for the 1-1, but all of the fourth quarter remained. A very deep corner kick sent MacArthur racing back for the ball...then it was MacArthur racing up the sidelines - gfi'ing twice each turn due to the massive distance needing to be covered...while the trees and halfling dodged infront of the orcs and sacrifaced their bodies over and over again to prevent a blitz on MacArthur...eventually, we ran out of bodies, but then a double skull on a block by the orcs! MacArthur gets within 2 yards of the goal, when a blitzer makes a dodge and gfi...but can not take him down and MacArthur scores for the 2-1 win and the whole team enjoys a double heaping of after game snacks! This game increased our record back to .500 again (6/2/6) so far in this season.”
