The Light City Armadillos entered the field of some old factory made BloodBowl arena; at least it looked like it was, noone really knows for sure. "One place is as good as any to beat the opponents to a pulp" was Adam "the Executioner" Webster's comment when asked about the conditions.

Being guests, the Armadillos got to recieve and they did what they had come to do; score touchdowns. A quick run down the center with a good throw from Gary "Longbomb" Arlington, after what some spectators described as 'a fumble with the ball' at the start of the game, was cought by Timothy "Stealth" White who safely ran to the endzone.

Clearly the Munich Mugs wasn't into the whole "play ball" idea. A hard game it was after the initial touchdown from the Armadillos. Alot of bashing, and not alot of finesse I might add, lead to a slow grind down the field. The Armadillos did their best to get the ball but the Mug guards were too many.

A last minute tackle by Henry "Stonefist" Anderson took down Mugs player Hypo Vereinsbank a mere few feet from the endzone.

Adam "the Executioner" Webster had this to say after the match about the last few minutes of the first half: "Well, you know, it was unfortunate of course that Olympiadorf died from that block. I was aiming for his legs, you know, just to get him off the pitch. Hey, I guess it worked. Was just dumb luck that he hit his head when he landed. I think the Mugs took that a bit too personal, Odeonsplatz kicked when I was down at one point. Of course, the ref didn't see, he never does."

Second half saw the Mugs recieve, and the slow grind continued, although the Mugs did move a bit faster now. The bashing didn't losen though, and Jack "the Wall" Rayard had to be taken off the pitch with a concussion. Shortly after Henry "Stonefist" Anderson broke his jaw and also had to leave the pitch, leaving the Armadillos short a few players. This left a wide open space for Chinesischer Turm to score the tying touchdown.

With half of the second half remaining the Armadillos had enough time to score, they didn't have enough players though. Only six players took the field. However, it was clear in their eyes that they were gonna fight to the end. A few well placed blocks created a whole in the Mugs defence for Timpothy "Stealth" White to run through.

The Mugs defence wasn't fooled though. A quick run and a hard block by Chinesischer Turm left Timothy "Stealth" White on the ground trying to recover. A daring attempt to run free by Lionel "Immobile" Boughton was foiled by BMW and the Mugs had every chance to secure the victory.

Alas, the rookie player Technische Universität threw a lousy block, suddenly givin the Armadillos every chance to score instead. A small feint by Timothy "Stealth" White left him wide open standing in the endzone just waiting for the pass from Gary "Longbomb" Arlington.

Last few seconds of the game. Gary "Longbomb" Arlington was about to prove his nickname... when it happened. The Mugs owe the draw to Sechziger. An amazing jump and he cought the pass from Gary "Longbomb" Arlington. Interception! It was too late to score for the Mugs, but the draw was safe.

A nice and bloody match for all viewers. We'll see you next week with more bloody matches from the Armadillos.

#7 Olympiadorf – Dead (RIP)
What a start in group D. Bloody tough game. Light City Armadillos fought insane and so did Munich Mugs. For both teams a well deserved tie, even though an interception in very last turn stopped Light City Armadillos from scoring. Anyway a funny game. Olympiadorf passed by and is replaced with EON. Lets see if EON is able to pull out some TDs.
