“The first Premier League game of the season saw two heavyweight clubs fighting for the bragging rights as the pride of Spain.
The only previous encounter between the two clubs saw a 2-0 win for Valencia, and the record between the two coaches saw the Valencian leading by 1 game too.
Coach Russo on the other hand also had a bad record v Necromatic sides, so the tie looked intriguing as no body particularly likes the idea of playing B'Orcalona at the moment.
The game itself seemed to be decided in T2, with both the Wolves getting SI'd, allowing B'Orca to start dictating the play. A slow grind upfield saw a 1-0 score at half time.
In the second half the Valencians started brightly enough with the ball and fouled out Belletti, a move that made the B'Orca decision to leave BOTh Dirty Players on the bench look a bad move. But quickly the B'Orca star players started to prove their worth taking out key Valencian ball players.
In the end lumbering defender Jose Martin Caceres managed to score at the death to make the victory certain with 2-0 seeming very much like revenge... a dish best eaten cold as the Spaiards say :D
All in all a hard game for Tesi in the end. Two SI'd wolves in t2 probably got on his nerves and really seemed to knock teh stuffing from the game so early on.
