“OCCS Stomp - Game 15:
Against our nemesis of elves we took the pitch again...but this time things went horrible from the start. Two halflings did not show up due to wounds from previous game. Another two halflings decided their niggling injuries were too much to handle. Then quickly our apothecary failed to show up as we sustained some more injuries. We played the second half with only 6 players for the entire half. Still, with only 6 players, MacArthur took the ball and then with TTM, got close enough to score to tie the game at 1 each. On the next kickoff...still with only 6 players, MacArthur raced downfield on a Blitz kickoff and caught the ball...for the next 4 turns, the few halflings and trees dodged and twisted to get past the elves...then 3 yards from the endzone, MacArthur was caught...no RRs the elves did a 2d blitz after dodging...it worked in a bothdown. MacArthur only knocked down, got the ball, but due to the bounce could not score...next turn (now turn 14)...one last 2d blitz from the elves...again it works - this time for a POW and CAS on MacArthur. To add insult to injury, the ball is caught by the elvish thrower who on the next turn tosses it downfield to the catcher and goes endzone to endzone for the winning TD. Well done by the elves...just too tough on us halflings. This loss dropped our record to 6/2/7 in the stomp thus far.”

When we find out who gave our caravan driver the wrong directions to the stadium hoo boy are you in trouble! (I got my eye on you Deatheart!) After riding thru the wastelands for 2 weeks, we finally arrived to the Stomp to find the stadium empty, many teams havin absorbed their beatings and left. Fortuantely there was a small group of halflings trying futilely to uproot their treemen. A couple masturbation/splinter jokes later, we found oursleves in a match. They came at us angry, fouling like mad and injuring themselves in the rush to lay their grimy little hands on us. They played with tenacity and fury but eventually we were able to turn the tides thru attrition. Hanley drew a fine from the team for unsportsmanlike conduct as he highstepped it in as time expired. Well played match Azure. Now where are the other teams???”
