“An unusual blackbox matchup for our dark elves who at 172/146 with 13 players available have been matched up against Naama's 214/158 chaos who have just 9 players but a lot of claw, tackle and other nastiness. We get two handicaps, illegal drugs giving +STR to a block/guard lineman and morley's revenge affecting their only niggler who's niggle has in any case forced him not to play. Since it's a +MA/claw/RSC/block/frenzy beastman, we're ok with that!

So just 8 chaos, lets try and use our numbers advantage here! We receive but they blitz, letting them mess up our initial blocking strategy. However with the extra players we are easily able to push through, eventually scoring without much trouble on our 5th turn after stalling for two. We have a rookie lineman MNG'd and they have a beastman KO'd, though their apo has now been used.

They spend their last few turns of the half trying to cause some damage, eventually making us spend our apo to save a -MA on a guard elf while we niggle their AGI 4 claw/tackle beasty.

With a player apiece remaining in the KO box we set up 11 vs just 6 for the 2nd half. They start well though, seriously injuring one lineelf and fouling a blodge blitzer into the BH box on turn one. With their few players standing around where the blitzer was they are unable to defend the troll with the ball (touchback) and we knock him over and grab it. Good play ensues from the chaos as they remove another couple of elves and then chase after the ball where we are stalling in their end. They knock over our ball carrier twice with great dodging blitzes but in the end we are able to get it back and score on the final turn of the game to win 2-0!
