“Facing a side of the recently deceased dug up especially for the game, hopes in Einheim were unusually high for this game. Indeed, the possibility of a draw was openly spoken of. Unfortunately, despite the oppositions lack of natural skill, they were well organised enough to dominate the second half and hand the Eagles yet another loss. While they suffered no lasting injuries, the loss of face caused the Eagles to loose yet more of their fan following. A fun, exciting opponent who was a joy to play.”
