Just when you think you used all your major luck, he snakes going into the EZ ...
Again, great ending for my vampires. (I guess the orcs didn't like it so much. :))
Was a good game. Everything worked for me. First half I could stall. Second half I got 3 KO's against in first turn, but I could hit two players of in return (apo fail on top). Then wizard did a great job and from then on it looked very good. Probably should have sent the Lord back and not go for it in his half of the pitch, but then I wouldn't have got this ending. :)
He needs a 3+ pick up with Sure hands, a pass on a 5, a catch on a 3 and two gfi's. Everything goes well, so I would have been doomed in OT (had 7 KOs I think), but then Nuffle intervened again: Snake eyes on the last gfi!
On top of that 100K winnings and no injuries (apo'd Riss on a mng, which was certainly the man of the match with his Knuckledusters).
Thanks for a very exciting game, Brainsaw.
See you again,
“now. vamps got bashed last games, so not much left over. still 2 nice blodge vamps remain, count and wiz was a certainty, and some more LOS meatshields got hired as well.
somehow i knew, vamps+count+wiz will be real trouble.
some knuckledusters were dug up and the ma7 st blodge thrall got some hammering talent now.
guild of the unseen got drive! (pretty imprtant imho)
some pushing, some gazing and a good bob goes ko by a foul.
orcs decide that its time to kick the dps butt, but in the following turn they dont even manage to break iron thralls armors and if they manage, they usually got stun. one nice foul on the gfi snaked monsterthrall sent him off, but fanatic apoth him. later trhis results in a critical decision fanatic made, because the monster thrall now starts ko'ing and cas blitzing everything what is around and looks green. the 2nd cas vs a bob would be apot too, but he just went off for a pee, so off goes the bob.
long story short: orcs didnt manage to break anything, even worse. the thralls really kicked some orc butt in return, just by blocking.
ht 2 started with the complete orcs roster (at least) ;)
4 thralls go out now, mostly ko, but now the fireball ignites and all 3 affected orcs go down! no problem for count to secure the ball now.
following turn orcs struggle to recduce more vamps, doing some more kos. now they put some pressure on the count, but a blitz failed. (i missed that guarder! dumb me) but nevertheless, count gfi snaked, so a last theoretical chance remains. pickup long pass catch, rr remain. 2 gfi to go... 2nd = snakes.. dice were pretty onesided already, but that made it somewhat frustrating. good game, you played very well! sadly spoiled by the dice..
good thing is: vamps go to another round is always nice so all my best wishes for the final and curse you nuffle ;) ”
