Today we got our first victory, though against a bunch of low-lives, it was a good experience for my players. They got to play against a popular team who brought their fans with 'em, the tiny stadium was full - 109000 people showed up - and they got a glimpse of what Blood Bowl can bring to a successful team.
Tomorrow we're heading back to our own shores for a little bit of rest, not too much to make them comfortable, but just enough to show that winning brings positive sides to Blood Bowl. Of course I'll have one of my pep talks down at the deck later this evening, but for now i'll rest and I'll let them do the same.
Soon enough blood will be spilt, bodies dumped overboard and tears'll be spilt. But until then, rest and a pep-talk will have to do. For now I need to deal with Daearen who was looking promising but somehow managed to slip on deck, injuring his right arm; no use for me now...
