“It's our gobbos again and this time they've been scheduled against Goblinen's orcs. We finally have 15 players on the books again though we didn't QUITE have enough to also hire Nobbla. They get two handicaps: bad press and virus (no nigglers).

They secure the ball but it was right at their endzone so they'll be a couple turns getting back to us. And when we try and dodge our AGI4 super gobbo through he manages to roll double 1s AND badly hurt himself!! Bad goblin.. BAD!

With the ball by one sideline we rush in the goblins, but failing a few key dodges ruins our blitz attempts. We then see 2 goblins thrown into the stands but counter by doing the same to their thrower (chainpushed then -2d blocked) with the ball. The ball is tossed toward our end zone, and despite a rookie goblin grabbing it he's immediately taken out. The orcs have no rerolls left but on this same turn a blitzer dodges away and seizes the ball. Looks difficult for us- but with some good placement of sidesteppers we make it harder for them.. in the end they have their blitzer free on turn 8 but he's 8 steps from the endzone. He runs.. runs.. and SLIPS!

0-0 for the second half but with 4 gobbos in our cas box we can only set up 10 vs 11. The orcs immediately roll up a blitz! This means we're in trouble from the get go- and more awful dodging from the gobbos makes it worse! Eventually we sidestep onto the ball while surrounded by players - it bounces from hand to hand until it somehow lodges itself in Dat's Me's helmet! Once his goblin helpers point out where to run he lumbers towards the end zone at his full speed of 3 squares per turn.. will we make it? The orcs are piling players around him so we try and handoff to a goblin... but the troll instead stands there scratching himself! The orcs pile even more players around but can't throw a block on him... and this time we manage the handoff to our +str gobbo who runs downfield to an unreachable position!

We score on turn 8 after watching the orc blitzers run up another couple casualties on our defenseless little tykes. Good game Goblinen!”
