“After some time on gamefinder and finding our challenges refused by orcs, necro and dwarves (!), we finally find a match versus Ibaraki's chaos. We're playing -15TS down but with 2 handicaps it would be a pretty fair match by blackbox standards. We get extra training and smelling salts.
We kick off and while everyone's looking up at the ball in the air our goblin in the reserves box fire's a hand-catapult at one of their beastmen near the sideline, stunning him! They immediately retaliate by badly hurting a black orc on the LOS! A lone beastman runs the ball up one side, but good blocks frees a way through to him and we blitz him over! We then recover the ball with our MA7 blitzer and start running downfield. Their best chance to blitz him is with their ogre but he needs to GFI .. and slips! We sprint away to where he can't be reached and score on turn 8 to bring the half to a close.
With both our KOs waking up (salts) we have 11 for the 2nd half vs 10 chaos as only 2 of 3 KOs woke up for them. And we quickly add to our advantage, KO'ing one beastman and gang fouling another for a -MA serious injury! They move forwards careful not to leave players in tackle zones, but we blitz with our MB black orc and badly hurt their best beastman! Just 7 left on the pitch now and they are having trouble even escaping all our 2d blocks as we run the ball upfield unnopposed to score on turn 5.
2 wake up so it's 9 vs 11 with 4 turns to go. And a canny kick to one side forces them to grab it with a rookie beastman nearby and try and toss it back to their AGI4, ending up with a loose ball in the middle for us to grab with our +MA blitzer! But it comes to nothing as they knock him over and no one can get the ball again before the game ends.
