The midgets passed the Alps' defence and surrounded Kees and Jaap. Klaas and Kees made short work of the halfings and Jaap picked up the ball, passed it to Virgil who had a clear walk to the TD line. All had to do was stay on feet, but he failed. One of the hobbits picked up the ball and threw it to one of his companions. Kees managed to knock him out but another one got a hold of the ball. Kees stripped the ball from his hands and the fumbling ball ended in the hands of Piet. He handed it to the returned Virgil, 1-0. After a failed landing of a ttm attempt the half ended. The start of the second half was a slow advance of the Cuddlers and they eventually managed to slip through our defence. After Wubbe failed to down the fling holding the ball it was 1-1. Now the Alps had 3 turns to finish the job. A failed quickpass from Jaap complicated things.The best option was a sole run from Kees with the ball. Steffan passed, Kees catched and made a run for it. He was knocked down by 3 of the little buggers and one managed to grab the ball and threw a good pass to his buddy, which failed the catch. Steffan had to throw a short pass for the winning TD, but failed. Draw.
