“Our undead face Goallie11's dwarves. Just 11 of them while we have 13 - lets try and get a number advantage here!

They gather the ball and march forwards slowly in true dwarfish fashion. We do our best to stop them but we can't knock over the ball carrier despite burning all our rerolls trying it. They soon run through to safety and spend the next few turns kicking our players around the pitch before scoring unopposed on turn 7. They've niggled a zombie and badly hurt a mummy, but fortunately both have regenned.

We have 2 turns so we run a ghoul upfield as a possible receiver- but they blitz him over and surround him so we cannot get the TD.

We start the 2nd half a little better, badly hurting a dwarf on our first turn. We then push forwards slowly and painfully, finally getting our breakthrough chance when their 1d blitz on our ball carrier comes up as a skull-reroll-skull. We run through and despite good sprinting by the dwarves to get our AGI4 ghoul in a tackle zone he's able to dodge and score to make it 1-1!
