“Our dark elves face Kondor's ogres. We have 12 elves available vs 7 ogres and 6 excellent goblins (2 AGI4s and a DP). However one of the AGI4's niggling injury prevents him from playing.

And at kick off both teams fans get the ref! We each have a DP so this should be bloody!! Their first foul fails to break armour and on our turn we manage to blitz the DP goblin into the KO box - no more dirty fouls from them! We go for the ball, blitzing their gobbo ball carrier twice despite all the guarding ogres about. We then knock over an ogre and gang DP foul him - it's a KILL! The ogre apothecary lumbers onto the field and slaps him about with a stick until he stands up again... unbelievable!

But now we have the ball surrounded with elves and when they start punching space with their ogres they throw double skulls and give us a free turn! We take advantage, seizing the ball and sprinting downfield with it. They run after us but it's no good and our DP badly hurts their block-gobbo (he tripped first) and we run in the touchdown. Their DP sleeps on (handily) as there's several turns of free fouls left. They go for a thrown touchdown attempt, with their AGI4 holding the ball... but the ogre fumbles him - knocking the little tyke out! With the ball in the middle of the ogre posse we have little luck getting at it or causing any more damage with our DP before the half ends.

With their AGI4 remaining in the KO box we have 11 vs 10 for the 2nd half. They get the ball early on and hold onto it despite our best efforts at getting to their goblin. On turn 4 they go for a thrown gobbo attempt that sees their airborne goblin land on their only other goblin - both sides' fans go wild at this hilarious display! We manage to grab the ball and run it back into the ogre half at this point, while the ogres have some sort of bonehead festival. We eventually manage to score on turn 8 to secure the win.
