“Curses. A match that we were dreading turned into a pain for the Picnic.
Eagle had the first drive, and a 1 die pow block set the scene for the half. We managed to get Sunrise near the ball carrier, but we couldn't protect the ball. An intercept occured and in the end, we just made it easier for Eagle to score without time for a proper response. We tried a 1 turner, but stuffed it. 1-0.
Second half and a lot of players were in the KO box. Shocks was MNG so we took the field and had to run around dodging High Elves. Brittany managed to scrape over for an equaliser, but we couldn't stop eagle taking a 2-1 lead. This time, our 1 turner push was fine but Brittany got tackled 1 space from the TD line. 2-1 the final result.
Well done Eage, best of luck with the rest of the season. To rub salt in the wound, Nuffle took away Sunrises +ST...the #$^#$^#$. Now on to the rest of the season, with the Premiership back in the balance.
