“OCCS Stomp - Game 2:
After suffering 2 RIPs in game 1, we were in weak shape to face the nasty necros of GeneralMarauder. However, here TTM worked very well despite the 6 CAS the necros inflicted and the 3 self-inflicted CAS. To start the game, the Unholy ghoul failed its pickup...therefore General Charles de Gaulle took flight...grabbing the ball in the tacklezone, he scampered into the endzone for the early 1-0 lead. Not insurmountable by any means and the necros were soon headed downfield for the tying score - but let themselves open...and Charles again took the blitz - this time he stripped the ball and it was tossed into the crowd! The crowd was kind to the halfling and tossed the ball in to the other side of the field...Unholy Affiliation tried but could not catch up with General Douglas MacArthur and it was 2-0 at the half. Even though the Hobbits received the ball, there was nothing they could do with so few people and the Unholy necros got a defensive score. However, the following kickoff was a bad kick and Charles went soaring again on a perfect TTM to make it 3-1 and end thoughts of a comeback. This increased our record to 2/0/0 thus far.”
