“Fearsome game by a Ratsketeers squad that needed something low-casualty after their mauling at the hands of Black Dragon. Instead they wound up with a game that could have gone either way before ending in a tie against the Rat Hunters.

The opening drive by the Hunters turned into a wild skirmish that saw the ball change hands twice. High-octane pass rusher Gooey got in the Hunters' faces and managed to keep them off balance by contesting control of the ball at every opportunity. However, the Rats were never able to quite get their claws on the ball, and the Hunters scored with a punishing drive that took out the clock for the first half.

The second half opened with a typical Rats quick-strike touchdown pass to Chewy. On the ensuing kickoff, the Hunters fans stormed the field, rendering two Ratsketeers unconscious. This Hunters possession wound up in a drive every bit as wild as their first, but this time the Rats were able to get posession. Storm Vermin Rip had the ball within sight of the end zone, but was unable to sneak past the wall of Hunters barring his path. The Hunters were unable to get anything going in the short time they had left, and the game ended in a tie.

Ratsketeers newcomer Wail celebrated his first game by keeping the skull of Green Hellebore as a souvenir.”
