Handicaps in my favour - Virus (no players affected!) & Bribe the Ref

I was very fearful going into this game... I had two players out which included my only tackle player... I'd had too much damage done to me during the FA Cup I think. I was also without a DP. When I rolled virus I thought nuffle was just taunting me!

However at the end of the day I felt I should have won the game, just missing out with a failed gfi for the win. I could have stalled for a draw by turn 5 of the second half, but there were 3 KO'd sauruses and Mr Prez was on the back foot... fortunately for me his skinks let him down at the last... and I had a chance for an end to end counter which nearly worked. I was also lucky that it seemed that I bribed the ref a LOT of cash as he didn't stop me once from fouling... although fouling av9 without a DP was tough going... all my cas's came from blocks!

At the start of the game I would have taken your hand off if you offered me 2 points. Ah well. Was a fun game against a good opponent. Now I just have to make sure I'm not one of the five that gets relegated!

(Edit - Damn you Gritter for jinxing me and calling my failed gfi at the last! - You won't pay this season - but what goes around normally comes back at you with sharpened nails on it!) :D”
