“WIL Premier Division XII - Round 2

Can't say too much about this game... basically it came down to Nuffle in the end... too many times luck rollercoastered it's way to making this game a frsutrating one... but for Somertown to lose this game when he could so easily have walked away with all 5 points will mean he is the more frustrated of the two of us.

1st half the wood elves defended brilliantly. The tree kept moving all half and in the end I was forced to dump off and then try and dodge and hand off for a TD... it all worked... except the hand off to the catcher TV Star IV failed... and it ended 0-0.

2nd ha;f the tree rooted early, and the wood elves were without their DP... and we were without our tackler due to a BH (she had been SI'd before and niggled but the apoth came to her rescue... I don't think somertown wanted her on the pitch!). Fortunately for me a fumbled throw gave me a chance to get back in the game. We tried to throw it away with Saucy failing a dodge... however some good dice rolls this time meant we scored in turn 8... and I breathed a huge sigh of relief!

Two games into the league and I could have easily have won both or lost both... so in retrospect I'll certainly take a win and a draw!
