“RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE
Our pygmies' 2nd game, vs some brand new skinks. It's 11 vs 11 though we do have an apo. #1 target is their poisoned dagger- always dangerous vs our low armour!

They start well, KO'ing two pygmies on turn 1. And they continue in this fashion, their dagger badly hurting another pygmy, and our eagle warrior + another pygmy KO'd by turn 4. They run the ball upfield but we then manage to score two casualties and get a kroxi by their ball carrier. It's not enough though as bonehead means he can't block him and they then KO a further two players + badly hurt our alligator warrior. We're down to just 3 players on the pitch! They score with ease on turn 8- though their poisioned dagger adept is then sent off!

They now have 2 cas + 2 players sent off. 3/6 of our KOs wake up for our final turn of the half, where we fail to hurt a single skink. 2/3 of the remainder wake up but that leaves our 2nd kroxi snoozing!

It's 8 of us vs 7 of them. And on our first turn, despite our lone kroxi being bone headed we KILL two skinks!! With this massive numbers advantage we're quickly able to push forwards while KO'ing even more of them to score on turn 5. Just 1 skink and both raptors stand up for kick off vs 9 of us. Our kick goes deep and they are in trouble- their only hope a 1d blitz vs our eagle warrior: both down, but armour not broken, so we're able to run him through to score on turn 8 and secure the game!
