“Our brand new adepts vs Ropetus' brand new horrors.

On our first turn we go for our very first blitz with a poisoned dagger vs a flamer... forgetting we need to click the dagger skill to choose to use it! A -3dice blitz sees us both down - their flamer KO'd and our night runner KILLED!! The doc manages to stitch him back together.. but lets not make that mistake again! We rush forwards and correct use of our knives KO's both their horrors at the back so we're able to run our assassin through who grabs the ball and scores.

Both their flamers are sent off, leaving them just 8 players to continue... and we roll a blitz! It's just not their day!! We score again with our assassin within a turn- but get two stalkers sent off!

Nothing eventful happens in the remaining few turns, and the 2nd half sees 9 horrors take the field vs 10 adepts, including our remaining knifer. We push through quickly, scoring to make it 3-0 on turn 4. We set up again with 10 vs 8 horrors; they set up every player on the LOS for maxium carnage, ignoring the ball! We run through after the ball, grab it with a stalker on 5 spp.. but then trip over on the single GFI (with reroll) needed to score, KO'ing himself! The horrors get their blocks in, eventually managing to KILL an adept! By turn 8 we're able to get our other stalker through to score and make it 4-0.
