Cardinal lineman Pfance E'pance leveled a surprisingly tough block that turned into a surprising fatality. (E'pance paid for it later in the game, suffering a serious injury on an equally vicious block.) Two more deaths and one more serious injury were to plague both sides during this surprisingly brutal match, almost overshadowing the scoring.

Led by Tawonn Bold One's stellar play, running in two TD's and completing a pass that led to the third, the Cardinals managed to score more points. But it's hard to call either of these brutalized teams a winner. ”
