#9 Snout – Dead (RIP)
“We kick and they start a strong, steady attack. Their first failed OFAB sees a squig badly hurt a thrall. But it's a long time before we cause any more casualties. They are rolling POWs like it's going out of fashion and have 4 of our rats KO'd plus our block/dodge assassin badly hurt, ouch! They score on turn 8 with 6 rats in the KO box- and two daggers get sent off! They all get double rolls but there's still 2 left in there at kick off for the 2nd half. We have just 9 players versus 11.
In our first turn we manage to even the odds with a KO and a badly hurt! But they blitz over the ball carrier and then manage to snag the ball in two tackle zones. Our knifer then KILLS a herder and their apo fails.
But we just can't knock over the ball carrier- and they get another few casualties (including killing a just-skilled adept) and we're in serious trouble. They waltz in the 2-0 touchdown in the last turn to secure the win.
Well won Sephi, this time the casualties went your way :)”
