“After the loss of Gilgamesh (mummy-the previous game) the team's morale was at a low point with no chance of improving or worsening its "middle of the pack" ranking. The main concern was damage control and cash ... a win would have helped with the cash, but against Laviak's girlz, it was unlikely. Damage control was more problematic, with Armour and Regen failing regularly this Season.
As it played out, despite an early scare, "We Fink Wer Orks" had little trouble winning the match and failed blocks and dodges cemented the game result for them.

The final match of the season, and we wanted a win! We managed to secure the ball, but things got hairy for a moment when Alocer got a nice position on the ball carrier. Fortunately, Heart Breaka was up to the task, and dodged her way to safety. A failed block shortlu after left the merry men in a rather awkward position, which we were able to take advantage of, and set up a touchdown.
The merry men had a couple of turns remaining, but were unable to get the ball moving.
Half time score: 1-0
The merry men secured the ball quickly, but ended up getting a little caught out. When the ball eventually came loose, Silly Throwa was able to collect the ball, and get it to her teammate for a touchdown. The 2-0 lead pretty much secured the game, so from then on, it was all about playing it safe. Safe didn't work that well though, and we took a couple of casualties, as well as conceeding a touchdown. Still, a win is a win, so we'll take it all the same!
