“Our goblin's first game since we lost our star troll I Hit Stuff. We are still saving up to replace him so this game we have just 1 troll; we're facing Jix's 10 dark elves.
We start with the ball, but their first turn sees a witch dodge through for a blitz that sees them both-down. Our gobbo is stunned but the witch is KO'd! We recover the ball and then Dat's Me wakes up, and seriously injures the lineelf in front of him! We have the ball again but we're surrounded by elves on every side- but it doesn't slow us down as our AGI4 super gobbo Gimp blitzes through and we run up one side. Our apo has now been used to save a rookie goblin's life. We dance around the endzone for a couple of turns, unwilling to give the elves a scoring chance this half, but we are forced to score on turn 7 instead of 8- giving them two turns!
But instead of pushing through to try for the 2-turn touchdown, they gang up on our lone troll, knock him down and go for a gang foul! It's a stun but this means our DP is safe to foul again on our last turn- and it's another stun!
The second half starts and there's 9 elves facing 11 gobbos. Wait- our fans have thrown a rock, badly hurting one of their lineelves! 11 vs 8. They secure the ball and on our first turn we gang foul a witch for a KO and see our troll KO their dauntless elf. 11 vs 6! They are running out of players and are forced to go for a risky play that is foiled by a diving tackle gobbo! This lets us recover the ball and run upfield. By turn 6 we have the ball safely through and put in a gang DP foul that sees their witch elf badly hurt! At this point they totally give up, refusing to stand up any players for the next four turns. We spend them doing the only thing available to us, putting in fouls and attempting completions, eventually scoring on turn 8.
