“Our undead face Lopan's rotters; they have a lot of guard and several skilled-up rotters, could be quite difficult.
They start well and were able to take the lead on turn 4, instead choosing to stall. We get some players back and are able to take advantage when they fall over on a 1d block (rerolled). We're able to blitz down their beastman, stunning him, and then in the following turn recover the ball! We've used up all our rerolls now but we have seriously injured their clawed rotter (regen) and KILLED a beastman (and raised!). They counter by badly hurting our block-mummy, no regen! We're just about able to run our wight downfield, and on the last turn a 1d blitz and a handoff to a ghoul in a tackle zone means he can dodge away and make it 1-0!
Just 10 rotters can play the 2nd half so we start with an advantage. They kick excellently- it bounces right up to the halfway line in front of their beast's tentacles! We pick it up with our agi4 and hand it off backwards, though with all the foul appearance nearby our 2nd ghoul cannot catch it. We're able to recover soon after though and push through looking for a 2nd TD. At one point we KILL another beastman! We are able to score on turn 7 but we try and handoff to a rookie ghoul, and with no rerolls it fails horribly. They grab the ball and run off where we can't catch them so the game ends at 1-0!
