“Kondor met coach Darius at mid field and complimented him on a well coached match. Some days you eat the bear, and other days the bear eats you. Today, nuffle decided who would be eaten. It turned out to be that beastman Hingebungsvol and the incompetent Apo that failed him. You that beastman tastes more like goat than beef though. How is the Apo Barbecuing?
This was a match that really went the Guard's way starting late in the first half. After the Computer Badass skewered Hingebungsvoll, the Servants came back with a brilliant blitz sending the ball into the crowd. They immediately threw it to a Guard blitzer on the far side of the field.
From that the Servants could not recover, and a pass to the rookie witch got her the score and her first skill. (Block of course)
The ensuing second half kick off saw Kondor dial up a blitz to the undermanned side of the field. Surrounded by Elves, it was a question of time. After some insane dodges, the ball was handed to commando who scored the first of his two TDs.
Finally, the Servants got the ball and began a classic beastman bash and brawl. Moving down the field pounding those in their path. Yet, as they reached scoring range, one of the four leaping elves bounced in and popped the ball loose. Then to top it off, with seconds left, the blodging AG5 elf scooped up the ball and made a pass to Commando who scored his second TD of the match.
Indeed, this was a match where Nuffle needs much praise. Without some happy luck, this one would have been far different.
Thanks for the match Coach Darius. Rematch any time.”
