“Another close game, but over the 2 halves it became apparent that norse really should get better armour, or learn to block better. The number of times the Wolves skulled a block in the first half was annoying to the coach.
Things weren't helped by multiple fouls raining in from the sneaky orcs, who managed to do this while the referee was looking in the opposite direction.
Even though the Wolves conceeded in the middle of the 2nd half, they still looked dangerous, and the orc coach racked his brains for plays to call.
But the Wolves were held back from the line, finally giving up possession in the last turn, despite some desperate play.
Overall a good game, with just one TD dividing the two teams. ”
The Ramblerz were overjoyed that the ref was going to "see things their way" at the outset of the match, and certainly took advantage of this wonderous generosity.
My QB missed two passes, for which he will have to be flogged. However, he came up with a glorious INT late in the game, after several of his mates were able to go for it in order go get back on defense.
The Wolves were a great opponent, and I enjoyed the game tremendously. Initially I thought the AV7 would play more of a factor than it did, as Block helps them out tremendously.”
