“The fearless comrades whom bleed red for the people took battle today against a group of short (dim) sighted wood elves. The first half saw the ball exchange hands no less than 6 times before Mikhail Gorbachev himself ran the ball in for the games first score in the dying moments of the first half.
The second half saw the dark loving wood elves suffer at the cruel hands of Nuffle as the ball popped loose and the mighty socialists recovered it in short order. Midway through the second frame Marx ran the ball in to bring the game nearly out of reach. The valiant wood elves rallied to score to bring the game within one but it was all for not. Time it seemed was against them with the clock ticking down; the single point was enough for victory today.
The people’s party would like to honor the courage and abundant skill of the embattled wood elves. Even when the chips were down, and injuries mounted the elves held strong. Never willingly giving up a single inch to the red army. This steadfast conviction and coupled with an incredible display of sportsmanship will not be forgotten.
These wood elves held strong, and we welcome a rematch anytime. Thanks for the game CarstenK, you are a great sport. I had a great time.
As the great leader of the people, Mikhail Gorbachev, once said:
“We are not abandoning our convictions, our philosophy or traditions, nor do we urge anyone to abandon theirs.”
