The Fairyland Fighters got the worst draw out of all the 64 teams. The Szikfaszik, a fairy team powered by the T.A.N.K and coached by Kalamona, who I will never ever beat no matter if I'm forced to play a hundred matches against him. He will always be the guy who pulls out the most amazing maneuvers to save his game. But I came damn close in this one.
I was very close to winning with 2-1 during regular time. It took Kalamona being fed 2 extra re-rolls by the kick-offs, a crucially missed GFI despite sure feet and some other goodies for him to stop me. And in OT of course I put up a 3*skull bock to allow him to TTM, 1d clean hit my ball carrier and pick-up the ball. All in turn 1, which vanished my hope immediately there.
Gotta say, Kalamona. When having the luck of an irish leprechaun in exactly every match we play it doesn't help your case to be grumpy as hell as well. But I guess I hit a real sensitive spot about my T.A.N.K comment.
