#3 Failure – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#15 Cripple – Broken Ribs (MNG)
With two of their players recovering from injuries after the last match, the No-Stars weren't looking forward to this one. Eight scary Ogres ready to pound their little green skulls straight into the astroturf, backed up by a few of their Goblin brothers every bit as sneaky as the No-Stars are themselves. But, a match is a match and the show must go on.

The first few turns were a disaster. The No-Stars got to recieve but failed to pick up the ball even with a reroll, and the first Ogre block of the game immediately sent off one Gobbo; a sure sign of things to come. The No-Stars threw themselves at every percieved weakness in the Stupidest Team's defenses in the hope of getting through, but to no avail. The first half turned into a desperate, and ultimately successful, attempt to stop the Stupidest Team from scoring.

After an entire half of injuries and many, many KOs, the No-Stars prepared themselves for what would undoubtedly become one of the most painful second halves in the team's history. But with grim determination they took to the field, ready to do whatever was necessary for the team. The Stupidest Team made the mistake of sending all it's Ogres forward, leaving only three weak Goblins near the ball in their backfield. When one of those Goblins failed to pick up the ball, the No-Stars knew it was all or nothing. This was their only chance to turn the match into their favour, and they would make the most of that chance or die trying.

Half the remaining team dodged through the scattered line of the big, clumsy Ogres, while the other half stayed behind in order to give the Ogres some nice targets to hit, distracting them from the more important part of the game. While some of the Ogres caught on to the ploy (I for one don't believe this is -actually- the stupidest team), the Goblins that had already made it through the lines eventually knocked the ball free and managed to make a glorious touchdown. The crowd went wild, and the cheering of the fans was almost louder than the cries of agony that had been coming from the injury boxes all game long.
