“The Choir fouled once in the whole game, and that was done in order to protect the ballcarrier after the rats had gotten a blitz. If I had wanted to hurt his players by fouling, I could've done it easily when I gained a numerical advantage late in the second half. Instead, I focused on scoring, and even refrained from blitzing his gutter runner into the crowd on turn 7 because it would have been pointless. This he pays back by fouling on turn 8.”
“The Ratsketeers had their chances to score, but were unable to hold onto the ball. When you're playing Wood Elves that usually spells disaster, and this game was no exception as the Metal Choir cruised to an easy victory.
The game started as a comedy of errors, with both teams apparently playing while severely hung over. But the Metal Choir got its act together, while Ratsketeer miscues haunted them throughout the game.
The game ended in controversy when Linerat Vengeful lived up to his name by attempting an on-field appendectomy of a downed elf Lineman just as the final whistle sounded. Vengeful defended the (unsuccessful) attack as payback for an earlier cheap shot by Choir enforcer Mike Baker, but the Elves decried the move as classless and vowed never to play the Rats again.”
