“Don't often get to play against fast teams with slow teams, and it severely showed. 11 starting undead against 10 starting elves, being outbashed and outplayed and in the end I was very lucky to even win this game at all.
It's hard to pinpoint any particular tactic, but Chapass was a master at stretching the game beyond the reach of my slow players and I only got 1 chance at disrupting the elf play during normal time.
In OT I think I got too caught up in the danger that a lone unskilled lineelf posed in my own half and was always marking with 3/4 players which let Chapass dodge around enough in his own half and make a break for it after a failed GFI blitz from a mummy. One turn later a ghoul managed to find a pow on the blodging S4 ball carrier and finally the other ghoul retrieved, but it was far harder than it should have been.
Here's to hoping Zara + Dwarves don't kill me too much in the semi.”
