“The game started out with the big guys of both teams facing off. After a few seconds a shifty eyed gobbo pulled a CHAINSAW out of his pants (just don't ask where he stored it) and started it with a roar. On the north side of the field a manical gobbo (obviously on steroids) pulled a morningstar out and started flailing madly around. The first time the momentum swung him around a few times and stunned a few beastmen. The second time the ball flew back into his face smashing his jaw. Needless to say the crowd went beserk at the sight of this.
After a few back and forths, the chainsaw gobbo came out to play, stunning a few beastmen but thankfully not killing anyone, though this was more to luck than intent. Quite a few bifs and punchups occurred (a few knockouts), the occasional foul being inflicted. In the lead up to half time, the goblins decided to play fetch with the beastmen, throwing the ball downfield and getting them to fetch, until the half time whistle blew at nil all.
As the players filed off the pitch the ref finally noticed the goblin with the chainsaw and despite trying to shove it up his jumper, saw sent from the game. The second half opened with a major push by the goblins, the kick off landing near the nurgle line, a goblin made a desperate dash up the center where two beastmen awaited slavering with anticipation. Unfortunately both beastys were unable to knock the gobbo down and on the next turn easily outdodged the dimwitted hairy beasts to score a touchdown!! 1-0 to the goblins
This time the ref took the pogo stick away from a gobbo making him sit and think about his choice of weapons.
Kick off to the beasty's again, this time handling the ball easier the beasty's made a scrimmage line behind their bashers and pushed forward slowly but surely. the lack of rerolls was taking it's toll as skulls kept appearing. Finally after some pushing and shoving a beast man made a break from it away from the swarming goblins. flanked by twin gobbo enforcers, Pertussis (his name) took a leap of faith, blitzing his nearest blocker, knocking him out, to sprint to the line for a go for it try. 1-1 apiece.
The final two turns were chracterised with score settling as the players vied to see who could hurt the other the most. Finally ending with a shattered knee to a gobbo. The game ended in a 1-1 tie but the fans were treated to a great spectacle and much blood. 2 Serious Injuries to the gobbos and 1 to the Nurgles (concussion).
Stay tuned for the next exciting game”
