“Yet another match against the darkies. I'm finding it rather difficult breaking up a cage with the High Elves. Gotta get some Tackle and Strip ball next time my blitzer or Lineelves get a skil.
The game started off with a pitch invasion, going after my opponent. Perhaps they didn't like Elf Ball too, and decided to kill the Elves they could find. Killed one player, but he got proper medical treatment, and nothing of further importance happened.
The Darkies made a makeshift cage, did their dodging and ran for a quick TD.
My poor Elves wasn't feeling "up to it" today, since they preferred staying in the KO box everytime they went out (which they did quite alot). Both teams were unable to stop the others offense, and we scored easily.
We both failed critical rolls, but in particualar I couldn't make 2+. I blew plenty of dodges (getting men KO'ed), even with rerolls, and just about every 2+ with a dodge skill on it got used!
I'm especially angry with my replacement thrower, who managed to misthrow a quick pass, delivering the ball to the darkies (who dodged in and out of my tackleszones with ease!). I could only apply pressure, and finally they decided to GFI, and got snakeeyes! I managed to get the ball, knock down the bitch-elf, and get it on my thrower. Ah, you know it's Elf Ball, when you actually have to GFI in order to make a longbomb! My real thrower did so without any problems and thanks to a catch reroll my catcher managed to get the ball (on 2+ ofc!)
Yeah, a couple of turns of stopping darkies went out on snake eyes, but that's BB for you. End of second half was really exiting when a witch failed her GFI, and I got the ball on my blodger catcher. UNfortunately he was knocked down, and the darkies got the ball back running for a 3-3.
And who got the MVP? The good-for-nothing thrower, who managed to fail a simple quick pass!?! Of course, after having nearly lost me the match, he was so exhausted that he developed a niggling on his first aging roll!
Back to training, where I will teach my Elves to dodge. Nice game, and good luck to you, Makina.”
