“It seems that the Shade's have finally developed a playing style the whole team can live with. It consists of fouling right from the off, battling around to try to take out opponent players; and when in control of the ball - fighting some more and if there aren't any more targets; score. All players bar Earmunte are happy with this approach [he prefers elfball].

In a freak time-warp occurrence, the Shade's former elf body managed to find itself sucked into a parallel-dimension and witness Pimli kicking his bones. The Shade, not wishing to see this happen opted to join up with the Crimson's players and has dutifully been recruited. In another twist of events, it turns out that Phill 'Easily Amused' Shade is in fact a mental clone of Coach easilyamused, and as a result, easilyamused will have skill picking abilities on the player.

The season is over for 'A Different Shade of Crimson' but this far into the league, without any major wipe outs to the team, and with two gnarled veterans sharpening their boots; season 2 will be a bloody affair.
