“Our undead are up against Slex's chaos + Nobbla!
We kick and they start up the chainsaw first time. Nobbla then gets in two stuns on mummies on consecutive turns while we try our best to hunt him down with our 3 block/tackle players on the pitch- finally getting to him and causing a KO! They have however finally picked up the ball in the pouring rain and moved it upfield - we try and slow them down but can't stop them scoring by turn 6.
After the kickoff we go for our first foul of the game, badly hurting a beastman but getting our DP (and coach) sent off! We then try for the touchdown, getting the ball down one side in our AGI4 ghoul's hands.... but in the pouring rain the receiver fails to catch the ball!
The ref hasn't sent off Nobbla but instead he's remained in the KO box and won't see the start of the 2nd half. But we start poorly against a perfect defence, and struggle to get the ball through. Eventually we are forced to dodge a lone ghoul towards their endzone with the ball - and he's easily taken down. They recover the ball and run it into our half and only desperate measures can stop them. But the half is almost over! On turn 7 we're able to blitz over their beastman by the ball and pick it up with our AGI4 despite the rain. With a guard-zombie beside him they are only able to get a 1d block on him, pushing him back. We have 2 ghouls down their end and they are only able to mark one... so we go for the series of dodges and the long pass... he's caught it! 1-1!!
They have one turn left and Nobbla has woken up... so they decide to try for the TTM attempt! They stand him by Nobbla... but our kick bounces right down to their endzone ruining the attempt!

I might only add one detail about the second half. When we had a beastman almost in scoring range for a 2-0 victory, and the ghouls somehow safely behind CW and a beastman plus a Mino standing in the path, I decided to block a zombie with the Mino. He throws two skull/pows and goes down. This probably costed me the second touchdown because now my opponent is able to go with his zombie for an assist on my ballcarrier. The zombie had block and guard, which is why I failed to get 2d later on on his ag4 ghoul carrying the ball.
